Many of the schools we have worked with have taken their workshops
further with us, culminating in a performance.
The workshops can be used to explore experiences and memories,
often in conjunction with older members of the community.
Cascade then develops a play with the school based on these memories.
With the children and our team of visual arts workers we can also
an entire school into the environment of the play.
The topics covered can complement specific areas of the school’s curriculum; teachers have found that the children make an incredible connection with
the subject matter through the development of a play.
Navigating a safe path through childhood can be a difficult task. School children are subject to many pressures and dangers and it is essential that they learn the skills that will enable them to make good decisions as they grow and develop.
A Cascade workshop will give them the tools needed to overcome
the obstacles they’ll encounter as they move through childhood and into the adult world.
We help children manage their emotions in a positive way. We use fun and creative activities taken from the world of theatre all underpinned by the theory of ‘Emotional Intelligence’ - EQ
Our school workshops can also focus on vital issues such as
- sexual health
- tolerance, abuse and bullying
and provide important techniques such as
- refusal skills
- decision making
- conflict resolution
- social skills
From a few hours to an entire day, a Cascade workshop provides
a fun, safe and positive learning environment in which the individual goals you have set will be achieved and pupils will develop
excellent techniques with which to manage any challenging situation.
