Commissioned by Plymouth Safeguarding Adults Board the DVD is in two parts. The first setting is a care home, the second a domestic residence. Each dramatic scene has been thoroughly researched with service users and the film shows over 100 examples of abuse and poor practice which will stimulate discussion and aid learning. The DVD also explores some of the background psychology in different relationships that can lead to abuse. The film stimulates discussion on all categories of abuse including: Neglect, Physical, Emotional/Psychological, Financial, Sexual, Discriminatory and Institutional.
Ideal for training care home staff, police officers, health care workers and volunteers this DVD is applicable to a wide range of audiences. It is:

It can be used as a trigger for any training connected with adult abuse, poor practice, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS).
